How to Grow Irish Moss

If you are wondering how to grow Irish moss, you have come to the right place! Many gardeners, myself included, admire this lovely ground cover plant.

Luckily, it is easy to grow Irish moss. Once established, it virtually takes care of itself!

How To Grow Irish Moss: Selecting Healthy Plants

Many higher end nurseries sell Irish moss in their ground cover sections. At these nurseries, you may have luck asking an attendant for tips on the best ways to grow Irish moss, from where to plant it and how to care for it.

At the nursery, look for Irish moss that is a vibrant and bright green color. The foliage of the plant should seem dense, as well.

Additionally, look for plants that are growing in larger pots. These plants will likely be more established than Irish moss growing in smaller pots.

How To Grow Irish Moss: Growing Location

If you choose to grow Irish moss, you should make sure to plant it in a sunny location. At the very least, you should grow Irish moss in partial shade. This plant will not do as well, however, in full shade.

To grow Irish moss that is as healthy and lush as possible, make sure to plant it in well drained soil. Irish moss should never be planted in a rain garden or on the bottom of a hill, as these areas tend to accumulate water.

If you grow Irish moss in such a wet location, the moisture will damage …

My Review of REN Seaweed and Sage Body Wash

I recently decided to purchase REN Seaweed and Sage Body Wash. I purchased this body wash because I have never tried any skin care product with seaweed and I have always heard that seaweed is great for the skin. REN Seaweed and Sage Body Wash is supposed to be a stimulating body wash that is gentle on the skin. I also really liked the sleek bottle and packaging. I loved the pump on the body wash which is not very common.

When my REN Seaweed and Sage Body Wash arrived, I used it that same evening. I did not expect this body wash to smell good, but to my surprise it was a very pleasant scent. I can't really smell any seaweed but of sage and a nice ocean breeze. The fragrance is a nice invigorating clean scent. I noticed that this body wash is made with organic materials. I love that this body cleanser does not contain any synthetic dyes, fragrances, or petro chemicals. I thought that $22 was a great price for a product with natural, organic ingredients.

The texture of the body wash is so wonderful. There are essential oils in the cleanser which cleanse my skin extremely well. The more I used REN Seaweed and Sage Body Wash I noticed that my skin was much softer. The oils in this body wash make it extremely moisturizing on my skin. After getting out of a shower, I do not need a moisturizer for my skin. This is …

Countryside Japanese Seaweed Onion Biscuits: Review

Crackers are always a good snack to have on hand and are convenient for busy parents in need of a snack for their children or as a quick lunchbox filler for work. Eat them with butter, margarine, cheese, jam or any other combination of ingredients for a quick and easy snack to help tide you over until mealtime. I recently came across Countryside Japanese Seaweed Onion Biscuits for just $1.99 for nineteen 3-packs.

Product Description

I love to snack on crackers in between meals, as they are light, but still offer some sustenance when I am hungry. I spotted Countryside Japanese Seaweed Onion Biscuits, a product of Malaysia despite the product name, in one of my local Asian supermarkets. As I was walking towards the checkout, I came across this large box that I had to have a second glance at. The front of the box has a close up of Countryside Japanese Seaweed Onion Biscuits surrounded by cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, broccoli, asparagus, carrots and spring onions.

I liked the idea of trying a vegetable cracker, rather than plain saltine crackers. The product description mentioned that Countryside Japanese Seaweed Onion Biscuits are "Made with the best ingredients for the health of modern men. Selected green onion, seaweed. Fine baking. Crisp and brittle." Although the English was stilted and did not make much sense, I could understand the gist of it. But I did wonder why this was touted as a "man's" product.
