Crackers are always a good snack to have on hand and are convenient for busy parents in need of a snack for their children or as a quick lunchbox filler for work. Eat them with butter, margarine, cheese, jam or any other combination of ingredients for a quick and easy snack to help tide you over until mealtime. I recently came across Countryside Japanese Seaweed Onion Biscuits for just $1.99 for nineteen 3-packs.
Product Description
I love to snack on crackers in between meals, as they are light, but still offer some sustenance when I am hungry. I spotted Countryside Japanese Seaweed Onion Biscuits, a product of Malaysia despite the product name, in one of my local Asian supermarkets. As I was walking towards the checkout, I came across this large box that I had to have a second glance at. The front of the box has a close up of Countryside Japanese Seaweed Onion Biscuits surrounded by cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, broccoli, asparagus, carrots and spring onions.
I liked the idea of trying a vegetable cracker, rather than plain saltine crackers. The product description mentioned that Countryside Japanese Seaweed Onion Biscuits are "Made with the best ingredients for the health of modern men. Selected green onion, seaweed. Fine baking. Crisp and brittle." Although the English was stilted and did not make much sense, I could understand the gist of it. But I did wonder why this was touted as a "man's" product.
