Originally on the hunt for a new skincare regimen for my grandma, I rightfully so went straight to skincare expert and my personal favorite–Mario Badescu. This witch hazel based Seaweed Cleansing Lotion was right up her alley. It cleaned deeply yet gently and was alcohol free. The anti-inflammatory ingredients were great for her sensitive skin.
The ingredients of this cleansing lotion are: Deionized Water, Aloe Vera Gel, Bladderwrack Extract, Witch Hazel, and Algae Extract. The Bladderwrack Extract is an anti-aging skin conditioner with antioxidant properties. The Algae Extract also helps with soothing as well as moisturizing. Witch Hazel is a great and effective astringent that works great as a toner as well as a gentle antiseptic.
This Seaweed Cleansing Lotion is available in three sizes: 8 ounces for $15.00, 16 ounces for $26.00, and 32 ounces for $45.00. I always prefer to buy the largest size available since it is more cost effective, though my grandma bought the smallest size since she was not sure if she’d like the product or not. Turns out, it did great on her sensitive aged skin, so she went back and exchanged it for the biggest size.
